Designer Servers, acquired by Legend Communications in 2005, are a Manchester-based technology supplier providing virtual hosting to Web design companies. Egovision became involved in their marketing strategy and production in 2001 after being contracted to design their new website.
Over the years Egovision has been involved in all of Designer Servers (DSVR) front-of-house presence, underpinned by a brand refresh that allowed us to position DSVR as a solid and recognisable proposition. In addition, we have designed and overseen production of a number of exhibition stands, business stationary and promotional materials.
DSVR’s first print advertising campaign was designed to stand out from the competition, who at that stage had relied upon text-heavy specifications and clip-art. Colin and Sophie were introduced to represent the key message of “take control”, and proved a great success over 18 months of advertising, clearly influencing many other campaigns within the market.
